Giovannelli e Associati has announced the arrival of Valerio Fontanesi as partner and head of the banking and finance practice of the firm.
Valerio, formerly head of the banking and finance department in Italy of a leading international firm, has more than 20 years of experience in this area, advising sponsors, hedge funds, direct lenders and international banks in complex high-profile investment transactions.
With this addition the firm now has a dedicated team in a sector of strategic importance, expanding the areas of the firm services to a broad spectrum of banking matters focusing on leveraged finance, real estate finance and direct lending.
