Andrea is a partner at Giovannelli e Associati.
Andrea advises issuers and underwriters on international and domestic equity and debt capital markets transactions, including first-time listings and IPOs, rights issues, block trades, debt and convertible securities offerings, eurobonds and MTN programmes, private placements and other exempt offerings.
His expertise covers also public M&A transactions, notably tender offers in the context of acquisition deals or delisting and exchange offers, as well as corporate governance and compliance issues.
Prior to joining Giovannelli e Associati, Andrea was a partner at leading Italian and international law firms.
Andrea graduated in 1987 from the University of Milan and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 1994. He holds a Master of Laws in International Finance (Queen Mary, University of London) and a Ph. D. in banking law (University of Siena). Since 2016 he is admitted as Cassazionista before the Italian Supreme Court.
Andrea authors the Securities Transactions Italian chapter for Sweet & Maxwell.
