Giovannelli e Associati advised White Bridge Investments on the sale of Biofarma Group, Italian corporate group of companies operating in the nutraceuticals, to the buyout fund of the European private equity firm Ardian for a value of about 1.1. billion Euro.
Biofarma specialises in dietary supplements, probiotic-based medicines and cosmetics and operates four manufacturing plants and three R&D laboratories in northern Italy.
The team of Giovannelli e Associati was led by partner Matteo Delucchi, senior associate Andrea Mossa and associate Nicola Malta.
