Giovannelli e Associati is advising Italmatch Chemicals Group on the acquisition of Afton Chemical’s metalworking fluid business.
Italmatch Chemicals Group, a portfolio company of private investment firm Ardian, is a global specialty chemical group leader in the production and marketing of industrial lubricants, performance additives for water & process treatment, oil & gas and plastics.
Afton Chemical is a global leader in the lubricant and fuel additive market (former Polartech).
The team of Giovannelli e Associati comprises partner Fabrizio Scaparro and associates Paola Pagani and Martina Sayaka Angeletti.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of May 2018.
