Representing the EU fund Mezzanove Capital, Giovannelli e Associati obtained the rejection of the appeal brought by the Italian Revenues before the Upper Tax Court of Lombardy and relating to the validity of the look-through approach in the interpretation of the interest withholding tax exemption rule on loans indirectly granted by an EU alternative fund. The litigation was followed by partner Eugenio Romita and senior associate Antonello Lops.
