Italmatch Chemicals Group to acquire Detrex Corporation

Giovannelli e Associati is assisting Italmatch Chemicals Group in connection with its announced agreement to acquire Detrex Corporation, a Michigan listed corporation that manufactures, through its operating subsidiary The Elco Corporation, high performance specialty chemicals. The transaction has been announced to the market on 14 November 2017 and is expected to close by the end of 2017, subject to the receipt of customary closing conditions.

Italmatch Chemicals Group, backed by private investment firm Ardian, is a global specialty chemical group leader in the production and marketing of performance additives for lubricants, industrial water & process treatment, oil & gas, and plastics.
