Giovannelli e Associati with SABO on the acquisition of a pool of assets from Evonik group

SABO, leading Italian manufacturer of polymers additives, closed a combined acquisition asset deal / share deal of the TAA business located in Germany, China, USA and Taiwan from the German multinational Evonik. The financing of the buy-out was granted by a pool of Italian banks composed by BancoBPM, Deutsche Bank, Intesa SanPaolo and BPER Banca.

Giovannelli e Associati advised SABO on the Italian tax, banking and corporate sides and coordinated the foreign law firms engaged on the tax and banking sides with a team led by partners Eugenio Romita and composed by senior associate Antonello Lops and associates Lorenzo Mazzocconi and Matteo Giacomelli.
