WindeX Investment Club, a private equity holding founded by Rolando Benedick and Domenico Sibilio with the objective to acquire controlling stakes in excellent Italian SMEs, has completed the acquisition of Frigotecnica Industriale Chiavenna SpA, a leading company specialized in the design and production of heat exchange technologies for the industrial, food and refrigerated transport sectors.
The transaction was completed through a new special purpose vehicle participated not only by WindeX but also by Swiss and Italian primary private investors.
Giovannelli e Associati assisted WindeX on all legal aspects of the transaction, with a team led by partner Alessandro Giovannelli and composed by the senior associate Laura Bernardi and trainee Claudio Asciolla for corporate aspects, partner Marco Amoruso, assisted by the associate Massimo Giordano and trainee Alessio Buontempo for the financing, and partner Giuseppe Matarazzo and the associate Santi Marco Calabrò for labor law aspects.
