INPS Circular No. 32 of March 20, 2023 (link) clarified that, as of August 13, 2022, also working fathers – who have taken the 10-day “mandatory leave” implemented by Legislative Decree N. 105 of June 30, 2022 and – who have submitted voluntary resignation within the first year of their child’s life are entitled to NASpI indemnity.
For sake of completeness, still as of August 13, 2022, working fathers are granted protection against dismissal – except for “cause” – until the child reaches one year of age (such provision was previously provided for working mothers only).
