Giovannelli e Associati advised Azelis on the acquisition of Came Chemical and Mineral Engineering S.r.l.

Giovannelli e Associati advised Azelis group on the acquisition of the entire corporate capital of Came Chemical and Mineral Engineering S.r.l. (“CAME”). Azelis is a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and food ingredients. CAME is a company specialized in the distribution of chemicals for friction and sintering applications, CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers), and cosmetics.

The acquisition of CAME illustrates the support provided by EQT since the initial acquisition of Azelis. Giovannelli e Associati team was led by partner Nicoletta Carapella and included Paola Pagani, Lilia Montella e Claudia Raimondi for the corporate aspects, Riccardo Pontremoli for the regulatory matters related to the “golden power” notification and Giuseppe Matarazzo for labor matters.
